THE KANSAS STATE FAIR welcomes everyone to its annual celebration of our great state.

THE KANSAS STATE FAIR BOARD is committed to making the Fair's campus accessible to all.

NEX-TECH WIRELESS GRANDSTAND SEATING: There are seats in the Nex-Tech Wireless Grandstand designated for our patrons with disabilities. With the purchase of each seat for a patron with a disability, that patron is permitted the purchase of up to three companion seats. If more than three companion seats are needed, please contact the ticket office at 620-669-3618. For information on Nex-Tech Wireless Grandstand events, visit www.kansasstatefair.com and click on “Entertainment” in the menu.

PARKING: There are three areas of parking reserved for visitors with disabilities. Two are located on the east side of the Fairgrounds in Public Parking Lot C. The other is on the north side of the Fairgrounds off State Fair Road. A vehicle with a state-issued parking permit or a license plate designated a disabled driver or passenger may park in these areas.

RESTROOMS: built to accommodate the disabled are available in major buildings throughout the Fairgrounds, including the Meadowlark, Sunflower South, Sunflower North, Pride of Kansas, 4-H Centennial Hall, Domestic Arts, Encampment, Oz Gallery, Cottonwood Court, Rabbit/Poultry, Prairie Pavilion and Sheep Goats Swine. Unisex accessible restrooms are also available at each of these locations.

PARKING LOT C SHUTTLE SERVICE: with wheelchair accommodation is available each day of the Fair. There are shuttles in the other two lots but they do not accommodate wheelchairs.

STATE FAIR TRAMS: We will have two trams, sponsored by Westar Energy, circling the grounds, for anyone needing a ride. Each tram holds 44 people. Tram stops will be announced soon.

WHEELCHAIR/STROLLER/MOBILITY CART RENTAL: is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in two locations: south of Gate 5 and west of Gate 9. For more information, please contact Scootaround Mobility Rentals at 1-888-441-7575, Commercial Exhibits at 620-669-3606 or 620-669-3612 or online CLICK HERE. Booths are open from 8:30 am to 10 p.m. daily, with extended hours on Friday and Saturday until 11 p.m.

MOBILITY DEVICES: Only properly authorized wheelchairs and mobility devices specifically designed for people with mobility impairments are permitted on the fairgrounds during the annual Kansas State Fair.

SERVICE ANIMALS: A service animal is any dog or miniature horse that has been trained to perform disability-related tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability. You may only be asked whether your animal is a service animal, and what tasks it performs for you. You may not be asked if you are disabled or what your disability is. Neither the ADA nor Kansas’s public accommodations law includes what some people call “emotional support animals”.

Suggestions for improvements and additional services are always welcomed by the Fair Board, which will continue efforts to make the Fairgrounds accessible to everyone.
