Nearly 12,000 students from preschool to high school age travel to the Kansas State Fair each year to learn about the richness of our state in a hands-on way. From the Education Center, Kansas Veterinary Birthing Center, Milking Parlor and livestock barns, to the variety of art and music programs, to pollinator gardens, Dr. Goddard's Lab and Agriland, there’s no shortage of material that can be used to effectively engage your students and spark their interest and curiosity.
We’re here to be your guide
Let the Kansas State Fair’s education team help you map out a fun and productive trip for your students – one that will animate their senses, fill them with questions, and stimulate their imaginations. Our experienced team can help you:
- Plan and coordinate your day at the Fair—taking you through our simple check-in process, providing interactive supplies for students, and explaining our comprehensive maps to help you find your way to the fairgrounds
- Build a lesson plan that’s right for your class, and direct you to pre-made lesson plans
Registration for Kansas’ Largest Classroom is easy – and official registration with us will ensure you make the most of your students’ day. Plus, you’ll receive discounted admission, reserved parking, rapid check-in, even someone to bring your coolers and packed lunches to the Encampment Building.
