The Kansas State Fairgrounds offers a beautiful, picturesque backdrop to your big day, complete with several venue options. Whether you’re looking for a ceremony site, a place for the rehearsal dinner or the reception hall, our scenic Fairgrounds offers the perfect blend of convenience and charm.
Choose from one of the amazing venues offered for your wedding celebration.
: (11,200 sq. ft. main floor/9,600 sq. ft. balcony) starting at $1,600 – The Cottonwood Court is another unique building. It includes 20,000 square feet of space. This two-story facility is spacious and airy, with lots of natural light, creating a soft romantic glow. Seating for 800 people (oval tables and
black plastic chairs) is included in rental cost. Depending on room layout, maximum seating capacity is about 1,000. Oval
tables are used in this facility but rectangle banquet tables are available for food and beverage if needed.
: (13,000 sq. feet) starting at $850 – The Domestic Arts building is a beautiful, airy structure with vaulted ceilings and 13,000 square feet of climate-controlled space. The industrial, rustic feel of this unique area is elevated by the high windows, lights hanging from the ceiling and neutral color interior design. A spacious kitchen is attached and offers 5 stoves, 3 refrigerators, 3 sinks, a microwave and a Dutch oven. No seating is automatically included with this rental but can be rented from the
Fairgrounds. Depending on room layout, maximum seating capacity is 900.
Encampment, Dillon Hall
: (6,300 sq. feet) starting at $650 - Seating for 400 people (50 tables and 400 chairs) is included in the
rental cost. Depending on room layout maximum seating capacity is around 400. Dillon Hall includes a full catering kitchen with warming ovens, convection oven, 3
refrigerator/freezers, microwave, 2 small deep freezers, 3 sinks and plenty of counter space.
Encampment, KS Fairs Hall: (6,300 sq. feet) starting at $550 - Seating for 400 people (50 tables and 400 chairs) is included in the
rental cost. Depending on room layout maximum seating capacity is around 400. This facility has a refrigerator/freezer and a prep table but no kitchen facilities.
Encampment, Hansen Auditorium: (6,600 sq. feet) starting at $400 - This is an auditorium with permanent cushioned seating for
749 people. A 30’x30’ stage with light bar and sound system is included in rental.
Morton: (3,600 sq feet) starting at $350 - Seating for 240 people (30 tables and 240 chairs) is included in rental cost. Maximum
building capacity is 240. This facility does not have a kitchen but does have a large built in bar.
Lake Talbott: (1,600 sq feet) starting at $275 - Seating for 80 people (10 tables and 80 chairs) is included in rental cost. Depending
on room layout maximum seating capacity is around 75-80. Each Lake Talbott building includes a kitchenette with a
fridge/freezer, microwave, sink and counter.
House of Capper: (1,295 sq ft) starting at $150 - Seating is not automatically included with this rental but benches can be rented
from the Kansas State Fair. This is an outdoor covered venue. Rental price does include restrooms and available
electricity and lights to area.
Please note: The following building costs include access to the building starting the day before your event at 12 p.m. through the day following your event at 12 p.m. This allows our renters decorating and tear-down time prior to and following the event.
Unless otherwise noted above: All of these facilities are climate controlled with ADA accessible restrooms and plenty of
free parking. If seating is included with the rental of the facility, seating will consist of metal folding chairs and 8-foot-rectangle banquet tables. Extra seating is available at $9 per table and $0.90 per chair. If you provide a seating layout up
to three weeks prior to your event, our staff will take care of setting up your tables and chairs. Otherwise, tables
and chairs will be left in standard format. No kitchen supplies or cooking utensils are provided in any of our facilities.
All of the above facilities have a refundable cleaning/damage deposit. Depending on the room, the cleaning/damage
deposit varies from $150 to $200.
