Grand Drive Scholarships

We are looking forward to another set of great shows at the Kansas State Fair Grand Drive. A new addition that started in 2019 to this great program and superb livestock shows were the ten (10) - one Thousand Dollar ($1000) scholarships! Any past or present exhibitor of the Kansas State Fair Grand Drive that is enrolled in secondary education that will have graduated high school in 2022 or before are encouraged to apply. (must have at least one year of secondary education remaining to apply)

Applicants that have applied in the past, but were not awarded a scholarship, and are still elegible by enrollment standards are allowed to reapply for the current year's scholarships.
Applications must be submitted along with all required forms by April 15, 2022.

Applicants will be required to submit the following items at the time of application:
  • High School & Post-Secondary Grade Reports - Official transcripts not required. A copy of online grade report showing applicant's name and organization's name is acceptable.
  • Essay - 500 words or less describing which experiences in showing livestock at the KSF Grand Drive have resonated the most with you and why and describing your leadership and career goals for the future and how the KSF Grand Drive has influenced these goals
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation.

Kansas State Fair Grand Drive Mission Statement:

To provide recognition for champion market and breeding beef, sheep, swine, and meat goat winners of the Kansas State Fair, and to organize a celebration for the year’s accomplishments of all eligible 4-H &FFA livestock exhibitors. It is also our purpose to serve as an advisory board to the Kansas State Fair board for the Kansas State Fair youth livestock show.
