days of the Kansas State Fair, pets are not allowed on the fairgrounds, with
the exception of service dogs or animals approved as part of an exhibition.
Service dogs are those that have been individually trained to do work or
perform tasks for a person with a disability.
Dogs whose sole function is
to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under
the Americans with Disabilities Act.
