DILLONS FOOD STORES CELEBRATING 100 YEARS AT THE KANSAS STATE FAIR!
The 2021 Kansas State Fair welcomes the opportunity to join DILLONS FOOD STORES in celebrating 100 years of the industry’s leading food purveyor serving Kansas.
Dillons Food Stores will have an additional presence on the fairgrounds with a Historic Centennial Center located at 209-211 Cottonwood Avenue on the fairgrounds. Fairgoers will be able to join festivities, family-friendly activities, see historical pictures honoring Dillon Stores, and even participate in reminiscing. The Cottonwood Court building will also host a representation of the company’s historical timeline and a celebratory display presented by Dillon’s during the ten days of the 2021 Kansas State Fair.

The high profile DILLONS DOLLAR DAY on the Monday during the Kansas State Fair has become a fairgoer favorite and staple” stated Connie Schmitt, Industry Relations & Development Director of the Kansas State Fair. “The Kansas State Fair joins all of Kansas in this celebration of Dillon’s century milestone of outstanding provision, recognition, and community minded service.” Ms. Schmitt continued.
Dillons Food Stores across Kansas will begin selling Kansas State Fair general gate tickets and Midway Ride Discount coupon sheets, as in the past, beginning August 1st.

The Kansas State Fair has featured the best in celebration of all things Kansas – including its culture, its economy, its people and its communities – since 1913. Located in Hutchinson, it is the state’s single largest event, drawing an average 340,000 people from all 105 counties and several states for 10 days each September. The celebration begins Friday, September 10 for ten days through Sunday, September 19.
