State Fairs are full of fun, food, rides and entertainment. They also offer an incredible avenue for learning. From animals to agriculture, math to science, technology to cooking, crafts to cowboys, the Kansas State Fair is a one-of-a-kind educational event that no student should miss. We offer programming and events for preschool age students through college. Our educational programs brought 11,4561 students to the Fair last year for a one of a kind educational experience.

Kansas' Largest Classroom (KLC) was officially started in 1991. Each year we work on expanding our educational programming, adding lesson plans and offering new education competitions. Our program supplies teachers with all of the materials they need for a successful field trip to the Fair. The information links below will help you plan your day at the Fair. You and your class can explore every inch of the Kansas State Fair or design your trip around a specific subject. Check out our Kansas' Largest Classroom informational video or information page for even more information.
