CHECK-IN TIMES: Noon - 10:00 pm, Thursday, September 5 and 6:00 am - 9:00 am, Friday, September 6. **If tickets are ordered, they can be picked up when animals are brought in.
ENTRY FEE: $2.00 per animal, Fur Class entry fee is an additional $2.00 per animal
RELEASE TIMES:
- Sunday, September 8, 6:00 pm - Open Class over 150 miles early release at 4:30 pm must have a ticket to get in gate.
- Sunday, September 15, 6:00 pm - 4-H. with early release for over 150 miles at 4:00 pm.
- Early release must have pass from Superintendent to gain access to the Fairgrounds and claim exhibits
- Exhibitor released at 6:00 pm should have a release hang tag obtained from Gate #10 on Plum Street.
- Hang tag should be displayed on the vehicle during pick-up. Do NOT drive down 20th street on fairgrounds. Access barn by crossing 20th from between the sheep / swine barn and the birthing center. Exhibits MUST be claimed by 9:00 pm. Barn will be locked after this time.

Entries are subject to the Kansas State Fair General Information and Rules
Entry fee and ear numbers must accompany entry on Kansas State Fair entry form. All substitutions must be made in same sex, class, variety, group or breed as per ARBA rules, by September 1. Only ear tattoo changes accepted at check-in.
- Have your entry in early. When caging capacity is reached, entries will be returned.
- Entries must be in the State Fair office by August 15th or postmarked on or before August 15th.
- Only rabbits entered in Open Class, 4-H Show, 4-H Judging Contests and 4-H Demonstrations are allowed on the Kansas State Fairgrounds.
- The Kansas State Fair is a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association. This show will be governed by the latest revised rules of the ARBA. All prizes will be awarded in accordance with the ARBA Standard of Perfection. All filing of entries indicates acceptance of same.
- A qualified youth animal may be exhibited in the ARBA show and have the same animal transferred to the 4-H show starting Thursday, September 13. Animal must be pre-entered in the 4-H show.
- Information, ads and postings will be placed on the bulletin boards, located on west wall, in the Rabbit Department. Only coop cards and business cards measuring 3.5"x 2" can be placed on the cages.
- All rabbits marked for sale must be registered at the Rabbit Superintendent's Office. There will be a $3 charge for each rabbit sold, and rabbits may be removed between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm, Wednesday, September 11.
- During the actual show, all exhibits will be under the control of the Superintendent. No person other than the Superintendent, show assistants, the owner, or his agent will be allowed to handle any of the stock on exhibition.
- All rabbits, including 4-H rabbits, must have a permanent and legible ear mark in the left ear and coop number will be added with marker in right ear.
- Fur class entries must be entered in a regular class.
- Rabbits will be carried to the judging table by KSF carriers, notify KSF staff at check in to make other arrangements if necessary.
- The Kansas State Fair may pay sanction breeds with 10 or more exhibited in the previous year or as indicated by show superintendent.
- Premium money will be paid as listed below. There must be more than one exhibitor showing in a class to pay more than one premium placing. There must be two or more exhibitors before the BOS & BOB premiums will be awarded.
- All aisles in building must be free and clear of obstructions including chairs, tables, etc.
- If cage is tied shut, KSF employee has the right to open to take animal out for judging.
- If animals are removed early without prior approval of show superintendent, all premiums and ribbons will be forfeited.
- Premiums will be awarded to the following open and youth classes: Senior (S), Intermediate (I), Juniors (J), Pre-Juniors (PJ), Meat Pen (MP).
