Dr. Robert Goddard, father of modern rocketry, was an American engineer who is credited with creating and building the world's first liquid-fueled rocket, which he successfully launched on March 16, 1926 ushering in an era of space flight and innovation.
Dr. Goddard's Lab is a interactive show using live rocketry demonstrations to teach spectators about the history of rockets. Demonstrations highlight early experiments with solid and liquid fueled rocket engines.
Dr. Goddard's Lab is presented by the Cosmosphere International SciEd Center & Space Museum. Presentations are in the Education Center (formally the Do Art Building) daily at 10am, 11am, Noon and 2pm.
Dr. Goaddard's Lab is part of the Kansas’ Largest Classroom program.
