PARKING: Livestock exhibitors can purchase a RESERVED Parking Hang tag. Cost for reserved spots vary by day and / or show (hang tags are non-refundable) Spots are limited so order early. Additional parking for livestock exhibitors will be available in the C lot. THESE CREDENTIALS WILL BE REQUIRED AND MUST BE DISPLAYED VISIBLY IN THE VEHICLE TO PARK ON THE GROUNDS FROM FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 THROUGH SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18. Parking is FREE in the public parking lots located north and east of the Fairgrounds. FREE PARKING for livestock trailers in the North East corner of lot C. After unloading livestock, exit fairgrounds at Gate 10 located at 19th St. & Plum St., and cross to Lot C to the North East corner. Delivery/Release Hang tags are also available at no charge at the gate. This Delivery/Release hang tag allows you on the grounds to deliver tack and feed and then exit immediately for parking. The Delivery/Release hang tag will be required on the last Sunday for pick-up of exhibits at designated release time and a gate admission ticket is required for each individual in the vehicle until 6:00 pm. Vehicles are allowed on the Fairgrounds after 8:00 a.m., Monday, after the fair, without a hang tag.
Yellow Lot: East of the Agriculture Education exhibits is designated parking for those with FFA Mechanic projects. These exhibitors can enter at Gate #6 off of State Fair Road with proper credentials. Gate tickets cannot be purchased at gate #6. To purchase a gate pass, you must go to gate #5.
Purple Lot: South of the Dairy Barn is designated parking for 4-H/FFA beef, sheep & swine, open beef & dairy cattle, dairy goats, sheep & swine exhibitors. These exhibitors enter at Gate #11 (19th & Poplar St.). After unloading animals, livestock trailers should be parked in the trailer lot located lot C. Tow vehicles should park in one of the free parking areas located in Public Parking Lot A, north of State Fair Road, and Lot C, east of Plum St.. Parking on grounds in the purple lot requires a RESERVED parking hang tag.
Tan Lot: East of Nex-Tech Grandstand & Race Track is designated parking for horse exhibitors. These exhibitors enter at Gate #10, (19th St. & Plum St.) They can exit the fairgrounds by leaving east of the Race Track and leaving by maintenance Gate #7.
- Tan Lot: reserved for tow vehicles pulling horse or livestock trailers only.
- Tow vehicle must remain hooked to the trailer.
- RVs are not allowed in Tan Lot unless paid and parked in reserved electrical. All others must be parked in Lot C, or have a reserved spot in the RV park or a reserved spot in the purple lot; see camping.
If access to trailer is blocked, exhibitor is responsible for all tow fees incurred.
Exhibitors showing rabbits, pigeons or poultry should enter at Gate #10 (off Plum St) with a Delivery/Release hang tag. This hang tag will allow you on the grounds to deliver your entry and then exit immediately for parking. You will cross 20th Ave on the fairgrounds from the west side of the sheep and swine building.
Exhibits or demonstrations being delivered to 4-H Centennial Hall should enter at Gate #3, 23rd St. & Main St., with a Delivery/Release hang tag. This hang tag will allow you on the grounds to deliver your entry and then exit immediately for parking.
Gate tickets and parking hang tags (tickets and hang tags are non-refundable) purchased by livestock and horse exhibitors will NOT be mailed. Tickets may be picked up at the Credentials office located in the north end of the sheep & swine building.
