Welcome to the 2020 Kansas State Fair! We're excited to help our media partners develop helpful and fascinating stories. This guide will help you secure gate tickets, as well as learn important information about this year's event.
We gladly provide free gate admission and special parking to members of the working press who are actively working on fair-related stories. Click here to request tickets by Friday, August 28.

Several days of the Fair will be structured around an important piece of the state’s industry, people, innovations and entertainment. The 10-day celebration begins Sept. 11 with Reunion Day – a meet up with your friends and family for a night out at the Kansas State Fair. Each day of the Kansas State Fair will be focused on a different piece of the state – with special attractions and events to highlight the uniqueness of Kansas. Click here

Entertainment Information and Interviews
The Kansas State Fair Marketing Department is available to assist with information on Nex-Tech Wireless Grandstand and free stage entertainers scheduled to perform at the Fair. Media contacts for entertainers are available upon request. It is highly recommended to provide one week’s advance notice for requests. While not all requests will be granted due to label and/or scheduling limitations, we will make every effort to assist with these requests.

Results of the competitive exhibits and competitions will be available exclusively online, and they will be posted as they become available--a link will be placed on this page. Digital photography of livestock winners will be available upon request. Contact Bickel at email@example.com.
There is abundant of free parking at the fair. Several parking rows will be reserved at the southwest side of Parking Lot C (near gate E-9) for media and VIP guests only. Media will be provided with a permit that must be displayed on the dashboard at all times while in the media parking lot. Violators will be towed at the owners’ expense. On-grounds parking is granted by the Kansas State Fair on a case-by-case basis for limited use. Please submit requests for on-grounds parking via the online credentials request form by Friday, Aug. 28, 2020.
