Jason and Marsha Parr have been bringing their indie folk band music to audiences in the Kansas City metro area and beyond since 2008 as founders of the band Freedom Calls. Now joined by their teenage children Simon, Elise, and Juliana, The Parrs' repertoire consists of a diverse collection of original and time-tested pieces featuring a folk, country, bluegrass, and even Celtic vibe. The Parrs treat their audiences to everything from toe tapping fiddle licks to a cappella ballads in five-part harmony, and each performance contains a little something for everyone.
