Casey Wilson, a Kansas native, received his degree in Photography from the Art Institute of Colorado located in Denver. After graduation, he worked as an intern where he worked as team photographer for the Colorado Rockies, the Denver Broncos, and NCAA Photography. Wilson later freelanced covering a number of area sporting events including Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals games.Wilson moved to Emporia, Kansas in 2001 where he worked as a photographer for the Emporia Gazette. This move brought him a step closer to what has become his true passion – capturing the timeless beauty of the Flint Hills of Kansas. His photographs of prairie fires, prairie chickens, and lightning are some of his most sought after images. His work can be seen in many popular publications.
