Kansas State Fair now accepting Free Stage Applications

If you are interested in performing on one of our three free stages fill out the free stage application now. Applications will be accepted January 1, 2012 through April 1, 2012 for the 2012 Kansas State Fair, September 7-16, 2012.

Bretz Law Arena (25' X 48') - Sound is provided
Stage at Lake Talbott (18' X 24') - Sound is provided
Gazebo at Gottschalk Park (22' Octagon) - SOUND NOT PROVIDED. Select this stage only if you can provide your own sound.

Free stage entertainers selected by this process are generally compensated at a rate up to $30 per person ($120 maximum) per hour performance. Performers providing their own sound at Gottschalk Park may be eligible for additional payments.

Selection scheduling and program printing is done solely from the application and the audition material that you submit. It is your responsibility to provide accurate information on the application. Please make sure the information you submit is accurate and complete; a follow-up call will not be made to you. Plaese update us immediately if any information or circumstances concerning your application changes.

Whether you have applied or performed for us before, each year is a new year for screening, selection and scheduling. Application and Audition Material must be in our office by 5:00 PM on April 1, 2012. The final selection of performers will be completed no later than in June 15, 2012. Those selected will be contacted after final selections are made.
